Recently, Lee Walton and Donovan McKnight were invited to participate in a the School For Artistic Activism in Mebane, NC. Taught by Steve Lambert and Stephen Duncombe, this 3 day intensive was extremely informative.
This month, Lee and Donovan will be re-presenting this workshop (the best we can) for interested participants. We will summarize and discuss the ideas presented at the School, give you the resources for further research and engage new discussions. This will happen in a concentrated 5 hour workshop at the Super G. Of course, there will be a nice lunch in the middle and a few beverages following.

Compiled below are a series of photos and descriptions from the experiences constructed by the current Super G residents. The current crew is affiliated with UNCG and Sarah Martin’s Photo Interaction program.
Kids (at age and at heart) are invited to pick a game from a cup, and play! Games like pictionary, simon says, hopscotch: all the childhood favorites! Headed up by Katie, Kelsey, and Jason
Kenny and Xavier invite whoever is willing to come and learn how to draw graffiti. Any age was invited, so drawings range from kids to adults. (see drawing below)
Rachel brought a bag of clothes and whigs, and invited people to dress up. Along the way, conversations of gender identity and drag came into play.
